BEGBY and FRANCO (see their photos on the Image Gallery)
These 2 handfuls are Begby, who is  the shorthaired black boy and his brother Franco, who is mainly white with a few black spots on him.  At 9 weeks old, they are now ready to rule the roost in a new home!

They are typical kittens, wanting to constantly play, explore and run up things.  As you can see in the photo, Franco wants to escape!!!  They need to be homed together.

BELLE (see her photo on the Image Gallery)

Belle is a 3 year old short haired tortoiseshell cat who came into our care because her owner had a very ill new born baby and was unable to care for her any longer.

Belle has got a pin in her leg as a result of a previous injury that has healed incorrectly and it is not possible to remove the pin.

Despite some discomfort, Belle is a good natured cat and would be fine in a home with older children.  The Branch would continue to pay for the cost of her ongoing treatment for this old injury, which is taken in the form of medication given in her food.

CINDY and KATIE (see their photos on the Image Gallery)

Cindy and Katie are two our of three cats who came to the Branch because their owner had died.  The final member of the trio has already been homed.

Cindy is a ginger female cat, approximately two and a half years old, and Katie is a lovely black and white 14 year old female cat.

They both have good temperaments and would suit a home with another cat but they do not need to be homed together.

CODY (see her photo on the Image Gallery)
Cody is two years old.  She has a good temperament but doesn't get on well with other cats so needs a home without other animals.  She has lived as an indoor cat but there is no reason why she shouldn't be allowed out.

DIPSY (see  her photo on the Image Gallery)
Dipsy is a black and white female who is 10 years with a lovely temperament and is very friendly.

She came into the Branch's care after her previous owner passed away.  She has lived with another cat but would like a quiet home without young children.

DONNY (see his photos on the Image Gallery)
Donny is a black and white cat who has just arrived in our care because his owner has died.  He is aged about 12 years old and is a friendly cat who loves having a fuss made of him and his tummy tickled!

He was initially quite timid when he came to us but he's now coming 'out of his shell'.  He would need a quiet home without dogs but possibly another gentle cat.

FOXY LADY (see her photo on the Image Gallery)
Foxy Lady is a ginger female, aged about 8 years who has been spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated.    She was a stray for a long time and was very nervous but is getting better and would suit a nice quiet home where she can continue to her confidence .  In her current foster home, she likes sitting on their lap and seeking the sun when it is out.

Foxy would suit a quiet home, with no other animals, and a caring new owner.  Can you offer her that very special home that she needs?

GEORGE (see his photo on the Image Gallery)
George came into our care because his owner was no longer able to look after him.

George is an affectionate, black short haired boy  with a distinctive white spot on his chest.  He is approximately 10 years old who, in his previous home, liked the outdoors and to sit in the sunshine.

George is a timid cat and would need a quiet adult home without children. He has,
however, lived with other cats in the past and would probably be ok in a new home with other cats.

GIZZY and SMUDGE (see their photo on the Image Gallery)
Gizzy and Smudge are two young cats who have just come into our care.

Gizzy is just over a year old, female, brown and creamy ginger torty, very sweet and playful.  She is of small build, with one brown leg at the front and one cream leg which is very nice.  Smudge is a year old boy, tabby & white, with a big white chest and paws, a little bit shy to start with but will come round in time to be playful.

They have come in together as their owners are moving and can't take them with them.  It would be nice
if they could be re-homed together but separate homs will be considered.

HARLEY
Harley is a 2 year old bengal male who is very friendly and good natured.  He is being re-homed as he kept wandering from home and was reported as a stray on three occasions. His owners deemed it unsafe to keep him due to the location where he lived.

Bengal cats are not to be taken on lightly as they are very verbal and active and Harley needs an owner who understands the breed.  He is a very lively cat who needs the right type of home to suit his needs.

Harley is suited to a rural home with plenty of space where he can be safe from traffic as he does like the outdoor life.  He also needs a home without any other cats in the family.

HATTIE (see her photos on the Image Gallery)
Hattie is a friendly black cat, aged about 14 who came to the Branch after her original elderly owner had to go into care.

Hattie would be best suited to a quiet home with someone who would have the patience to ensure that she settles in properly.  Due to her age, she has a touch of arthritis but deserves a home to call her own.

JESSIE (see her photo on the Image Gallery)
Jessie is a super cat and although she is 12 years of age you would not believe it - she constantly wants to play and is a very lively little lady.  Her owners came from abroad and unfortunately need to return so have reluctantly put her into our care.  Currently she is very  nervous and anxious so we urgently need to find her her home comforts again.

LOLA
Lola is a 2 year old white short haired female cat.  She is a very good natured cat and would be good with older children but needs a home without other cats.  As she is white, her new owner would need to apply sun block to her ears and nose in the summer months.

MAX (see his photo on the Image Gallery)
Max is just a cuddly teddy bear!   He is so adorable and likes attention and fuss. He makes you want to just pick him up and cuddle him!!

Max is a  middle aged, long hair tabby so he will need a home where he will get regular grooming and no young children.  He has been used to another cat so could possibly be homed with another cat.

MOLLY (1) and PEBBLES (see their photos on the Image Gallery)
Molly is a black long haired girl and Pebbles is short haired.  These two cats are believed to be sisters and are about 10 years old.  They are being rehomed because their owner has died.

Pebbles is very loving and friendly and loves to sit on your lap.  Molly is much quieter and very shy and needs a quiet home with her sister.

MOLLY (2) and BARNEY (see their photos on the Image Gallery)
Molly and Barney arrived together in our care because their owner has died.

Barney is a tabby male, aged 13.  He is a lovely cat who, unfortunately, has a bladder tumour.  At the moment he is well and we are looking for a home for him with someone who will take care of him for his remaining time.  The Branch will pay for any ongoing treatment for his condition.

Molly is an 11 year old black and white girl with a lovely temperament.  She would suit a home with other cats and older children.  It would be nice if she and Barney could be homed together, but it's not essential.

MONTY (see his photos on the Image Gallery)
Monty was found as a stray and handed into the vets.  On the routine vet check it was discovered that he is FIV, which means he needs to be an indoor cat only with no other cats in the household.

When Monty first came into our care he was very nervous, frightened and could be a little feisty.  You want to see him now!!  He is the most soppy, affectionate cat ever.  Even when he was taken back to the vets for a check-up he was rolling over, wanting his tummy tickled on the table!!

Do you live in a flat and thought you couldn't have an animal?  Then please consider Monty.

MR CO-OP (see his photos on the Image Gallery)
Mr Co-op is so named because he was found as a stray in the car park of The Co-Op store in Tarpots in Benfleet.

He is approximately 9 years old and is a black and white long haired boy.  He is still recovering from his time as a stray where malnutrition seems to have caused him slight anemia.  However, he is very much on the mend and now enjoys regular hearty meals each day!

Understandly, he takes a while to build up trust and so he needs a very special patient person to settle him into a new environment.  He can be a little feisty at first but once he feels comfortable, he becomes one great big soft cuddle puss.

LITTLEFOOT (see his photo on the Image Gallery)

Littlefoot is a 6 month old kitten who needs to be rehomed because his owner has had to move and can no longer keep him.

Littlefoot is a typical kitten - friendly, happy and playful.  Can you offer him a home, please?

POPPY (see her photos on the image gallery)
Poppy is a lovely tabby girl who is approximately 5 or 6 years old.  She can be an affectionate cat; however she is not a lap cat.

Poppy has always been in a home on her own, without any other animals, so she needs a similar home again.  She would be an ideal companion, looking for attention and although Poppy will sit by you, she does not like sitting directly on your lap.

RINGO (see her photos on the Image Gallery)

Ringo is a very sweet 11 year old tortoiseshell female looking for a new home.  Her owner has now relocated to another country and Ringo is in a temporary home whilst we are looking for the right person to take care of her.

Ringo is good natured, although she does prefer to be left to choose when she will come for attention and a cuddle.  She would like a new home that will give her plenty of time to adapt to her new surroundings and let her have a quiet place to call her own. She has had a lot of changes  in her life recently and so it will be lovely for her to be able to settle somewhere again, especially if there is a garden for her to sit out in the sun!

ROSIE (see her photo on the Image Gallery)
Rosie is now available for homing.  Her two kittens have been adopted and she has been spayed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.

She is a white and black one year old, a very friendly and lively cat looking for a loving family home.

SMUDGE (see his photo on the Image Gallery)
Smudge has just come into our care having being found as a stray.  He looks a bit battle-scarred but is a lovely cat, needing a home to curl up in the warm.

TABITHA (see her photo on the Image Gallery)
Tabitha was dumped in a basket in the early hours of the morning outside a cattery before coming into our care.

She is a charming tabby cat aged about 11.  She is lovely and friendly and would be an ideal lap cat. Like many older cats, Tabitha has an overactive thyroid gland for which she is on tablets.  These are easily administered in her food and, once she is rehomed, we will continue to pay for this treatment.

Tabitha is a lovely cat - she is very curious, and although older, she is very active and runs around like a cat half her age.  She would suit a home with older children.

THOMAS and ROSIE (see their photos on the Image Gallery)
This is Thomas and Rosie who, for all their lives, have been loved and well cared for by their owners  However their owner has had to go into sheltered accommodation and although she would have loved to have taken them with her, was not allowed to so the cats have come into our safe care.

Thomas is 19 - yes 19 - but is spritely, constantly purrs and is a real cuddle puss.  He is black and white while tabby and white Rosie is 16 and just likes the quiet life, lazing around.  These cats really need that loving home to spend the rest of their time in.   Please do not be put off by their ages.
